That is because proper editing could just mean the difference between your work being accepted or rejected. And you have worked hard to write your academic document and have put a lot of effort into it, but you might not have been able to adhere to the high language standards required for such work or you might just need a second pair of eyes to take a look at it for quality assurance reasons. I thus provide proofreading and editing service for students who want to ensure their academic work is as flawless as possible.
For a description of what my proofreading and editing services entail, read more about it here. However, my academic proofreading and editing services specifically include the following:
Please note that checking the reference list at the end of your document is charged separately and at different rates to the body text. It also does not include completing your reference list to ensure all references are included. I can only note those references that are missing from the list, after comparing the in-text references with the reference list.
Also note that my services do not include checking the facts in your academic document for accuracy (even though I check for consistency), checking for plagiarism or writing sections of your document. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that the content is correct, there are no instances of plagiarism and that the document is written in full. That being said, I may, at times, notice possible instances of plagiarism while doing research and will indicate these instances.
If you are still working on your thesis or dissertation or wish to have your work edited one chapter at a time, I will be happy to work on each chapter separately.
